Faith and civic responsibility
Our faith does not end at the church door. Caring for our country is part of how we love our neighbours.
A Christian youth community that makes room for honest, intelligent conversation about how Nigeria is run and what it could become.

Every month we sit down, hear both sides of a hard question, and leave with more understanding than we came with.
Politics & Jollof is not a political party, an advocacy platform or a campaign. We exist to nurture informed, engaged, thoughtful Christian citizens who understand governance, participate responsibly in democratic processes, and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s development.
How an edition worksOur faith does not end at the church door. Caring for our country is part of how we love our neighbours.
Registering, voting, asking questions and holding leaders to account, between elections as well as during them.
Knowing how power works in Nigeria, from the constitution to the council, so our opinions rest on facts.
We can disagree hard and still eat at the same table. Respect is the ground rule, every time.
Young people are not only the future. We are citizens now, and we are learning to lead now.
Nigeria’s future will be shaped by the people who show up, understand how power works, and hold it to account. When young Christians are informed and engaged, and when they can disagree without turning on each other, the country gets citizens who build instead of only complaining.
Honest, respectful conversation that hears both sides of hard questions and chooses understanding over division.
Building political literacy so young Christians understand governance, their rights and their responsibilities.
Moving from talk to action: taking part responsibly in democratic processes and contributing to Nigeria’s development.
